Note:We have made the maximum cutting thickness as clear as possible in all descriptions, this can cause the blade to jump up onto the plastic guard, and can cause lasting damage to the blade. Remove the small black tabs at either end of the metal cutting bar, and adjusting the bar so that the blade sits on the metal cutting table, not the plastic guard
